Description
Laser-cut wood shield earrings, approx. 2″ of wood and 3″ total drop, hanging under a small cherry wood round and finished with decorative paper in soft sage, olive and rust vine leaves. Gold-tone stainless steel ear wires. Choose Cherry or Black Cherry.
A five-sided shield, wide across the shoulders and tapering to a soft point, hung under a small solid cherry round. The paper is a watercolor print — grape and oak leaves in sage, olive and faded rust, the colors early autumn actually is before everything turns orange. Built one pair at a time.
Details
- Approx. 2″ of wood, about 1.5″ wide, 3″ total drop including the ear wire
- Laser-cut wood, decorative paper, sealed with a matte finish
- Natural wood edge, left bare
- Gold-tone stainless steel ear wires
- Two wood options — Cherry (warm reddish brown) or Black Cherry (deep burgundy)
- Lightweight, no drag on the earlobe
- The paper is cut from a larger sheet, so the leaves land differently on every pair — no two are the same
Care
- Wipe with a soft dry cloth only — sprays and wipes will lift the matte finish
- Take them off before showering or swimming
- Store out of direct sunlight so the colors stay true
- Colors may vary slightly from screen to screen
About this one
The soft end of fall — greens still hanging on, one leaf starting to turn. Reads as autumn without shouting about it, so they work from September straight through Thanksgiving.
