Raven Shelf Sitter

Description

A raven in profile wearing a small witch hat with a curled tip, built from separate pieces of laser-cut wood and painted by hand. The body, the hat, each flower and each leaf are cut and painted on their own and then stacked.

The wing is where the work is — a purple flourish painted across the black, line by line, curling back from the shoulder. On the hat: a pink flower with a white skull set into the middle of it, green leaves, olive sprigs, and a small black spider hanging off the brim on a wire, far enough out that it moves on its own.

He stands on his own arched base. No easel, no hook, no hanging hardware.

Made to order

Only one of these is ready to ship right now. If it sells before you get here, I can make another — same design, painted by hand, so it comes out with its own small differences rather than as a copy. Colors may vary slightly from the photos depending on which paints I have in stock at the time. Allow about 7 to 10 days before it ships. Send me a message and I will start it.
