Ghost Bees BOO Sign

Description

A layered wood BOO sign with two ghost bees over a honeycomb BOO, hand painted and sealed with a matte finish. Approx. 6.5″ wide x 15.5″ tall, jute hanging cord attached. Made one at a time.

The letters are pumpkin orange with yellow honeycomb worked into the wood, and the bees wear little white sheets with blue wings. Every layer is cut separately, painted, and stacked, so you can see the shadow between the layers — not a printed flat panel.

Only one of these is ready to ship right now. If it sells before you get here, I can make another — same design, painted by hand, so it comes out with its own small differences rather than as a copy. Allow about 7 to 10 days before it ships. Send me a message and I will start it.

About this one

This one started because I was tired of orange and black. The blue wings weren’t the plan — I painted them black first and they vanished straight into the letters. Blue was the fix and it turned out to be the best thing about the piece.
